This August I went to Ólafsvík. During the trip I also went to Djúpalón and other places around Snæfellsnes. The beauty in the landscape captured me right away. I love the details, texture and how complex and colorful they are. A lot of Icelandic nature photography is taken from air to show the magnificent forms that appear when you see everything in a bigger context. I feel the same way about the details that hide up close in our nature.
A photo blog from Reykjavik-based photographer Valdis Thor. Here I tell stories about my life, month by month. I turn my camera to the little things that interest me and give a view of what I'm working on at the moment.
